How would you describe your work?
Attempts at depicting and representing life forms and human ideas such as isolation, dealing with emotions and other things related to being alive in this “modern” society we live in and beyond in both realistic and fantastical settings, with stylized pencil and ink drawings, illustrations and animations.
What kind of work do you love?
I like work that shows a willingness on the part of the artist to take their audience to a place that they may have not been, work that makes one feel immersed in a setting.
What are your biggest hurdles in being a creative?
Trying to remain and build things to were they could go as opposed to following the mind to new ideas, starting new projects. It prevents a lot of work from happening, which adds up.
When do you know that you’ve made something you are satisfied with?
When the work either speaks for itself, perhaps self evidently, as is often the case; or when multiple things executed well are aligning and producing something that I know is something I haven’t seen before.
